It started in 1993 after Willem Venema revived a concept from a Dutch pop event held back in 1967. And from that time, it has been running every third weekend of August.
To attend the festival, you have to travel to Spijk en Bremerberg in Biddinghuizen, which is about 68 kilometres east of Amsterdam, next to Walibi Holland. Well, the festival is for three days, but you can enjoy a full camping weekend.
